Mission
ASOP Global Foundation is a charitable, not-for-profit organization dedicated to addressing the growing public health threat of illegal online drug sellers, concentrating its activities in research and education to inform consumers and policymakers.
Board of Directors

Justin Macy
Chair
Justin Macy (PharmD, JD) leads NABP’s Digital Health team, which both verifies legitimate pharmacy community members and conducts research on illegal actors. Justin specializes in the intersection of law, technology, and healthcare with a focus on pharmacy practice and drug regulations. Prior to joining NABP, Justin was a specialist in Amazon’s Consumer Legal department and Associate Director of Innovation at LegitScript.

Bruce Longbottom
Secretary
Bruce Longbottom has served as an Assistant General Counsel – Trademarks at Eli Lilly and Company since 2001, where he works on the company’s global anticounterfeiting efforts. He also has been active in the International Trademark Association (INTA), having served on the INTA Board and as the Chair of INTA’s Anti-Counterfeiting Committee. Bruce also serves on the Executive Board and Registrant/Supporter Advisory Committee supporting the .Pharmacy initiative of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

Elizabeth Scofield
Board Member
Elizabeth Scofield heads up Visa’s Global Brand Protection Program, which identifies illegal or brand damaging merchants within the payments system. Elizabeth also produces and executes policy and educational materials which aid Visa’s clients in managing their merchant underwriting, monitoring and compliance programs.

Carol Tweed
Board Member
Carol Tweed, MD is a physician at Maryland Oncology Hematology and an active clinical researcher, having served as principal investigator on numerous national and international clinical trials. She also is an Instructor of Medicine/preceptor for Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Caring for patients with a broad range of hematologic and oncologic disorders, Tweed is an expert in breast medical oncology and co-founder and co-director of the Maryland Breast Cancer Consortium.

Libby L. Baney
Libby Baney is a partner at Faegre Drinker Consulting and serves as senior advisor to the Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies (ASOP Global) and ASOP Global Foundation. She helps shape public policy and promote increased international attention to the issue of illegal online pharmacies and counterfeit medicines in the U.S., EU and Asia. Libby’s work at Faegre Drinker is focused on Internet pharmacies and pharmacy compliance; telemedicine and telehealth; pharmaceutical supply chain security and integrity; falsified and counterfeit medicines; mobile health; Internet governance and ICANN policy; new generic top-level domain (gTLDs) policy; Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory and user fee reforms; and international regulatory harmonization and capacity building.

Jillian K. Brady
Jillian Brady is an ASOP Global Foundation advisor and a Manager at Faegre Drinker Consulting. She provides strategic and project management support to consortia clients, comprised of representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, United States regulatory agencies and academia. A number of these consortia focus on joint technology development and data-sharing initiatives, where Jillian utilizes her experience in scientific research to help clients overcome a wide range of technical and regulatory challenges.
